Memorizing Various File Location is Tedious with SOLIDWORKS

SOLIDWORKS is easy to use and customizable as per user requirements for templates, Design Library, BOM Template (https://cadinfield.com/customize-bill-of-material-template-using-solidworks/), designers spend good amount of time to search the file location.

Have you ever wondered how to create and use your own custom templates in SOLIDWORKS? (Refer Blog https://cadinfield.com/custom-property-insertion-is-monotonous-time-consuming-use-solidworks-property-tab-builder/)  Or maybe you’ve created your own custom templates, but can’t figure out how to get SOLIDWORKS to show them as options when creating a new file?

Its very easy and simple to figure out location from folders specified in Tools > Options > File Locations > Document Templates.

OR you can go directly from option from standard tool bar.

You can find the folder location of the template files from Options > File Locations
