My name is Mayur Vijay Thakare. I am from Nashik. I have completed my graduation in BE Mechanical from Jspm’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathwade, Pune. Later on I joined CAD Infield Technologies, Pune which provides certified training on Design Thinking Expert.

I would like to tell my experience as During training period I learnt about 2D-3D sketch, part modelling, configuration and parametric equations, assembly, how to read and make drawing templates or sheets, sheet metal and weldments.

During training I have successfully completed three projects which are holmatro, conveyor design and pharmaceutical blister, From those projects I learnt how to handle many parts at a time and how to utilise Bill Of Material. How to read drawing, apply the working principle in various aspects of design.

Apart from this Sir has taught us the design fundamentals along with GD & T, Design and calculation of Mechanical lever, SFD BMD, Shaft ,Key , Coupling , Gears, Bearings, Selection of keys, gears, coupling , motor, bearings and Hardware specification form the catalogues.

Sir had also arranged guest lectures on Material Science from expert faculties.

Sir arranged industrial visits in 3 companies which we went through actual industrial scenario, so that it was really very effective.

Also Sir had arranged 2day industrial workshop on Product Data Management(PDM) in solidworks. In which I have learnt how the workflow management takes place in actual industrial scenario and how they create , save , protect and utilise their data related to design projects. PDM workshop was my favourite one. In PDM workshop we were group of four members have been assigned one project and we have successfully completed the task.

So, along with this knowledge I recently got placed in one of reputed company which domain is Manufacturing of Defence Equipments.
